Episode 48 - Dr. Mariana Markos is an Assyrian Artist and Dentist who is originally from Ankawa but is currently living in Bonn Her family left Iraq because of the political situation and has been living in Germany since 1997. For her, both Dentistry and Painting, are forms of Art.
Especially the destruction of ancient Assyrian artifact inspire Mariana to preserve her heritage by painting Assyrian symbols.

Alexander Paul David – Has been an active member of the Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa) since 2009. He is the Illinois Sector Director of the Movement, and participated in the 8th conference of the Assyrian Democratic Movement, which took place on March 2017 in Dohuk, Iraq. He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of the Nineveh Plain Defense Fund, a direct funding organization for the Nineveh Plain Protection Units (NPU). Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Alex graduated from DePaul University with a BS in Accountancy and is an avid golfer in his spare time.
